LOCATION
We have chosen an exciting location for our summer programs in Northern Spain. San Sebastián is a small city of historical and architectural significance situated on the water with fine white sand beaches and a variety of water sports including, excellent surfing.

BRIDGES in San Sebastián
Our four-, three- and two-week summer programs are based on the northern coast near the French border. Nestled between two mountains and situated along the shell-shaped Bay of La Concha in northwestern Spain, San Sebastián, the capital of the Basque province of Guipúzcoa, is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Spain.

Some cite the mild climate, beautiful landscapes, and splendid beaches; others mention the summer events, which include international jazz and film festivals, theater, and Basque folk festivals. Most agree that its Old World charm and small scale give it a sense of refinement and intimacy. Apart from these attributes, Sebastián has another unique quality: fine eating. This city of 175,000 has as many highly rated restaurants as Madrid or Barcelona. All of these qualities combined–the food, the beaches, and the overall beauty–make San Sebastián an inviting place to live, a city where you immediately feel at home, protected, warmly received, at ease.
